We are Bryan and Anne,
We have been together for 13 years and have worked together as a team for nearly 14 years, we just love being in each others company.
Our earlier years of working together has included owning and running a cycle shop, online sales with website building, hosting and marketing.

For the last 6 years now we have worked as a live in domestic couple for professional businessmen.
For 3 years we had sole charge, running and looking after house and estate for a single businessman who spent a lot of time away from home.
This included security, shopping, paying bills, cooking, cleaning, laundry, garden maintenance, household and machinery repairs, decorating, occasional chauffeuring, car cleaning, party organizing, pool maintenance and managing tradesman..... Sadly this position ended when our employer retired and moved into smaller premises.

Currently we are in a position where we have now been for the last 3 years, Bryan's main role is handyman and Anne is housekeeper for a businessman and his wife.
This is a large, listed 8 bedroom house and estate in Hertfordshire. Anne does all the housework, washing and ironing. Anne also looks after house, cats and dogs when owners away.
Bryan repairs things when broken, from pool vacuum to rotten window frames, Looks after security, drives employer or wife when required, cuts logs, maintains outbuildings, mowing of paddocks, looks after equipment, generally keeps things tidy and is always on hand to assist with deliveries or anything else when required.

Our current position ends at the end of February 2010. We are looking forward to a new year with a new position, preferably with sole charge or supervisory roles.
We are both fit and enjoy life with a good sense of humour, friendly attitude and are both able to use our own initiative
We are very caring, dependable, reliable, loyal and trustworthy; as our references will verify, we also have CRB certificates.
As live in employees we are used to looking after properties and pets whilst owners away.

Anne is experienced in all aspects of household cleaning, washing, ironing, polishing etc, can cook family meals and follow recipes.
If and when Anne is required outside, then getting her hands dirty is no problem.
Anne also has experience as hands on supervisor in a large office complex for a commercial cleaning company.

Bryan is very handy to have around and enjoys doing electrical repairs, plumbing, driving, car valeting, pool and pond maintenance, garden maintenance, domestic appliance repairs, mowing, tractor driving, machinery maintenance, interior and exterior decorating.
Bryan started his working life on a dairy farm and has spent most of his previous working life fault finding and repairing electro mechanical machinery in a factory as part of a team and then on own as field service engineer in customers homes, shops and pubs.

We are both experienced with children, Bryan has a boy and girl who are now in there 30's. Anne spent her childhood and teenage years sharing her home with foster children, her parents have recently been awarded an M.B.E. for foster caring.

We prefer rural and love animals, we have no dependants but do have a small, well behaved cat, therefore can relocate anywhere.
We also have many handyman tools!
Bryan has a clean driving licence with 36 years driving experience but Anne does not drive, we have our own transport.
